Macy Piersiak of Needham, Massachusetts, has passed away unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident that happened in Vermont. She was a student of Kimball Union Academy, and had got admitted in 2023. The authorities are yet to release an official report regarding the incident.
Late October, two pedestrians were severely injured in a hit-and-run accident in Needham, Massachusetts, and a 23-year-old driver was charged.
The unidentified Boston man is being summoned on charges of operating a motor vehicle negligently, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and leaving the scene of a personal injury collision.
Police said this is related to a collision that occurred at 7:12 p.m. on Monday at the junction of Hunnewell Street and West Street. Authorities said both victims were sent to Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre after suffering severe injuries.
Police said parts from a Honda were discovered at the scene, and witnesses characterized the car involved in the collision as a dark-colored Honda sedan or SUV. According to the driver, he turned himself in to the police.
