Reverend Doctor Justin Gilreath, who resided in Greenville, South Carolina, has sadly died. He died by suicide, according to an online report. He was the Senior Minister of Buncombe Street Methodist Church, the husband of Jenny, who was cherished by his wife, and the father of two beautiful children. The loss of him has left a great number of people’s hearts absolutely broken and destroyed. Every member of the community is grieving the loss of a shared member.
Regarding Justin Gilreath
The position of Senior Pastor was held by Justin at the church located on Buncombe Street. Justin received a promotion to the post of Senior Pastor at our church after serving as an Associate Pastor at Buncombe Street for a period of eight years. After finishing his undergraduate studies at Clemson University, where he got a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education, he went on to earn his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School. In addition, he was admitted to the Duke Divinity School.
He was given his first post at Piedmont United Methodist Church, where he served as the pastor for a period of nine many years. He was appointed to this position. The Doctor of Ministry degree that he had been working for from Erskine Theological Seminary was completed during his first job. During this time period, he finished his dissertation, which was centered on the relevance of Christian community and the unity of the church. Justin was most enthusiastic about assisting others in understanding the significance and power of the body of Christ. This was the thing that he was most passionate about. In addition to this, he found it really enjoyable to observe the celebration of the church’s traditions in ways that were both original and inventive, and that were relevant to the culture that is prevalent in the United States at the present time.
From that location, Justin and his wife Jenny, along with their two children Meakin and Griffin, took great joy in spending their leisure time on the farm that he owned and maintained in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
