Grace Hinderliter of Oswego, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 9, 2024. She was 6 years old. Her joy and love lit up any room and she was a friend to all. Her smile could make anyone’s day become better.
On other news, the officer who was killed in a collision while responding to a report has been identified by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office. According to a news release from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Cailee Campbell, 33, lost her life while responding to another call for service at the intersection of County Route 176 and Rowlee Road in Volney, Oswego County, shortly before 6:45 a.m.
Her patrol car was involved in a two-car collision. According to the sheriff’s office, Campbell was brought to Oswego Hospital and declared deceased. Despite not having life-threatening injuries, the second driver was sent to Upstate Hospital. According to deputies, Campbell has been employed by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office since April 2023, a period of 17 months.
Deputies are still looking into the collision.
